About Healthy Lungs Nepal
Healthy Lungs Nepal is a national campaign started in 2018 focused on all aspects of Lung Health-related activities, policies, and research in Nepal. It aims to raise awareness about lung health, promote evidence-informed programs and policies to prevent lung diseases, and improve respiratory health outcomes across the country.
In 2019, 2020, and 2021, we coordinated Nepal events to observe World COPD Day (2019, 2020) and World Lung Day (2021). We received the prestigious Healthy Lungs for Life grant award in 2020 and 2021 from the European Lung Foundation in recognition of our impactful work.
